He knows a Harold Newton painting from a distance.
I only realized just now what my old grandmother used to say, "Bobby, it's impolite to point".

Dear Mr Anonymous: I don't think it would be in my best interest to comment on another dealer's live auction due to an anonymous solicitation. Therefore, I decline.
It would be unprofessional in my opinion, and my opinion is the only one that counts on this blog.

Forgeries of Harold Newton paintings do exist, and I have inspected many since they have become reasonably valuable in recent times. A large part of my business in the last decade has involved protecting unwary collectors from the perils of dishonest sellers by way of sharing knowledge. That knowledge has value, and I expect renumeration.
Harold Newton, 24" x 36" Night Scene on Upson board. This is an early H. Newton on Upson and is in excellent condition. This artwork has been professionally cleaned by Hollingsworth Fine Arts of Orlando. The painting has it's original frame, nails and tape. Attached to the back of the painting are news articles about Harold Newton. This artwork is a part of Florida and American history.
